Free legal advocacy for adults 60 years and older is provided by the Legal Advocacy Program for seniors in the Mother Lode. Services include assistance with wills, landlord or renter issues, problems with contractors, fraud, debt recovery, and other legal issues.

Free legal advice is available regardless of income. Pro bono attorneys review each legal problem and will intervene on behalf of the senior or refer to a local attorney.

No court cases, bankruptcy, or tax issues are accepted; however appropriate referrals will be made.
