ESL/CIVICS PROGRAM -PART-TIME TEACHER
Description: Catholic Charities Naturalization ESL/CIVICS program is seeking to immediately fill an ESL/Civics part-time (8 hours/week) teaching position to provide class on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6: 00-9:00 PM at St. Luke’s school, 3847 Sutter Street, Stockton CA.

Desired Qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills, punctuality, excellent work ethic, dependability, flexibility, organization skills, self-motivated, strong inter-personal and cross-cultural skills, energetic and creative, enjoys learning and teaching, and can develop relationships with adult students.

Requirements: The Incumbent is to teach and prepare Lawful Permanent Legal Residents (Green Card holders) for the Civics (US History and Government) and English (Reading, Writing and Speaking) components of the Naturalization Exam.  Must have a valid CA Teaching Credential. IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES -CASE MANAGER 
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Stockton is seeking a full-time Case Manager to provide assistance in immigration legal services, and administrative support for the Immigration Program. Case management duties include, but not limited to; preliminary interview / screen clients regarding their immigration status, assisting clients with immigration forms and process while also providing administrative duties. Candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, as well as proficient in computer skills. Candidate will have a positive and professional attitude, flexible, attention to detail and sensitive to the needs of culturally and economically diverse client populations. While no immigration work experience is required, candidate will preferably completed courses in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Social Work or closely related field. Salary will be competitive and dependent on experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of nutrition as it relates to low-income populations and food insecurity. The position will require the Coordinator to work 35 hours per week, and may include occasional evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will have demonstrated competence in facilitating workshops, excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills. Must be fluent in both Spanish and English, and be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point. Must possess a valid California Driver's license and be cleared through a fingerprinting and background check.

Catholic Charities Nutrition Assistance Services has a full-time opening for a Nutrition Educator in the Stockton office. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of nutrition as it relates to low-income populations and food insecurity. The position will require the Educator to work 40 hours per week, and may include occasional evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will have demonstrated competence in facilitating workshops, excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills. Must be fluent in both Spanish and English, and be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point. Must possess a valid California Driver's license and be cleared through a fingerprinting and background check.

ADMINISTRATION -FACILITIES COORDINATOR
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Stockton is seeking to hire a Facilities Coordinator; this position is part-time (29 hr. /week). The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for managing the organizational relationships with the property managers of the Catholic Charities office facilities. The position is responsible for overseeing or providing necessary maintenance activities. The Coordinator assists in monitoring janitorial services of the offices and implements the injury, illness and prevention program. In addition this position will be coordinating our Food Bank twice a week, hours may vary. Candidates for this position must have three year’s work experience in facilities management or a related field. Computer skills are required, excellent communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and proven ability to work collaboratively with culturally diverse populations.
