IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES - ESL COORDINATOR

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Stockton has an immediate opening for a full-time ESL / Naturalization Program Coordinator. This position is funded by a federal grant requiring the operation of a Naturalization program in Stockton and Modesto. Coordinator will work at both sites weekly totaling 40 hours. Stockton school is M &W 5:30 – 9:00 pm, Modesto School is T & TH 5:30-9:00 pm and all other hours worked at Stockton Office. Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation of Naturalization program. Duties include but not limited to; providing intake and revision of enrollment for each student, ensure each student file is updated with appropriate signed documents, test scores and level of class, preparing sign-in for attendance of Instructors/Teachers and students, will work closely with Program Manager in providing statistics/data of attendance, hours of class, CASAS testing and benchmark data of each student for reporting purposes. Coordinator will have strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills; will possess extremely strong project and time management skills, including demonstrated capacity to manage and prioritize competing projects, and complete assignments under deadlines; High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through; excellent judgment, dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Qualifications: Must be fluent in Spanish. Two years of office environment experience and/or social justice work; Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Publisher and Excel (includes facility with spreadsheets and tables), demonstrated experience and effectiveness in coordinating and organizing activities and program events. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Stockton is seeking a full time Bilingual Care Coordinator to provide families with oral health education, outreach, and presentations and to offer maintenance support to engage families in continuity of dental care. The Care Coordinator will receive referrals and provide care coordination of children to Denti-Cal oral care providers in San Joaquin. AA Degree preferred in social services, sociology, or psychology. Bachelor’s Degree a plus or equivalent related work experience in field with minimum one year experience in a health setting delivering care as a Case Manager, Health Educator or similar position. Candidate will demonstrate good communication skills, public speaking, and be available occasional evenings and weekends. SENIOR SUPPORTIVE SERVICES -MSSP SUPERVISING CARE MANAGER

Under the direction of the Site Director, the SCM is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and implementing the principles and techniques employed in a comprehensive care management model for the frail elderly. The SCM position combines both administrative duties and clinical supervision responsibilities. Requirements include: A Master’s degree in social work, nursing, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation, gerontology, or sociology. Minimum of one year Supervisory experience. Minimum of two years’ experience working with the aging population (65 years and above). Minimum of one year care management experience. Knowledge of services available to seniors in the community. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Must be able to occasionally work non-traditional hours, overtime, and travel as needed for trainings and conferences. PARENT SUPPORT PROGRAM -PROGRAM ASSISTANT

The Program Assistant will provide educational sessions to parents 18 years and over at locations in San Joaquin County. In addition, the Program Assistant will maintain appropriate documentation and manage program data. Required skills include: Teaching experience and/or background in education, knowledge of community services, ability to speak, read and write English and Spanish. This position also requires reliable transportation; work schedule includes some evenings and few weekends. Qualifications include completion of any of these Bachelor degrees: B.S in Educational Studies, Early Childhood Ed, Teaching Credential or minimum one year of Adult teaching experience; and/or BS Social Work, Human Services, Behavioral Science or equivalent education and training in these areas. The Parent support program offers childcare services to parents who have children under the age of 11. This position is part- time, maximum of 8 hours per week.
