Coordinator has the ability to identify and screen eligible clients and, once approved, manage clients’ personal bank accounts.  Coordinator maintains records of check writing and interacts with representatives from the Social Security Administration, Adult Protective Services, Public Guardians, Financial Institutions and family members. The Candidate must have AA Degree or equivalent, 4-5 years successful work experience in a fiscal capacity with demonstrated competence in managing financial records; able to maintain accurate records for a variety of clients. Work experience in social service environment, preferably with elderly persons, and ability to speak English and Spanish is preferred. Catholic Charities has an immediate opening for the position of SEAPA Coordinator (30 hours per week, plus benefits).  This position coordinates the Stanislaus Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance (SEAPA), a collaborative county-wide effort to prevent Elder Abuse .  The Coordinator develops, plans and executes elder abuse training programs, workshops, and events to increase awareness of elder abuse and its prevention.  This includes working with many community partner agencies, maintaining existing relationships, and developing new ones.  The Coordinator must be proficient in Word, Excel and general internet use.  Desired qualification:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Social Services, Communications or related field; 2-3 years successful work experience in a Social Service Organization; demonstrated interest and ability to advocate and work on behalf of older adults; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects.  Please submit resume to by 12-7-18.
